Haven in the Burn Reviews

Hannah Duck
15th April 2025
Wasn't a comfortable experience, never ever come across for starters accommodation like this with a hot tub without a washing machine yet had plenty of space to include one take out pub size pool table and gym size tred incorporate space better for clients with more important stuff. Open planned lounge with that pool table plus heating controlled at 20C in March when it was 8C outside at night was ridiculous it was freezing all week didn't help having nothing on patio doors so starting into outside dark making it cold too, a curtain was missing. In the kitchen the oven was dirty as was the coffee maker which we couldn't use. There was dressing gown and slippers advertised that was false advertising as there were none. We were a party of three and had only two bath sheets and two hand towels. Before under the double bed in room next to kitchen were broken my husband had to try and fix them for our daughter to sleep in, socket near where Alexa sits needs attending. Decking steps rotten dangerous. I think place really should get those things sorted before letting out test of season. I'm an ex cleaner as well and worked in hotels, I wouldn't have let this accommodation out without a washing machine or curtains up and decent heating for time of year.
