We had a great time. It was nice and quiet, the hot tub was lovely, and when the sky is clear at night, you can have a soak while stargazing, which was a lovely experience. Phil and Julie were kind and attentive, and helpful for anything we needed. There's a really helpful folder full of activities and pamphlets, which was a great touch that helped us find places to explore! A lovely touch was Phil showing us how the thermostat worked in case we needed it, as a lot of places we've been to overlook little touches like that. It was really nice to know that our comfort was paramount right from the beginning. I'd definitely recommend a visit!After wracking our brains, the only things we can think of to change or improve on is the pans and chopping knives. The chopping knives are blunt from plenty of use, so a knife sharpener in the drawer would be handy, and previous guests have destroyed the non-stick on the pans unfortunately, so some have started to develop rusty spots. I'm not sure how one would go about stopping guests damaging pans though, as you'd expect most people to know not to use metal implements to stir food in a nonstick pan, so I don't have any helpful suggestions with that, I'm afraid, but some of the pans currently there will have to be replaced, which is a shame.

The cottage was in a beautiful setting very private and quiet.It is well maintained and very clean with everything you needed Phil our host was exceptional the complimentary items were far above any other place I have stayed in they had thought of everything.The hot tub was good sitting looking out over the countryside I’m not really a lover of these things but gave it a go and enjoyed the experience we didn’t use the swimming pool but it looked very inviting and seemed popular with the locals.I would definitely recommend and would hope to return one day.
