Humford Mill Cottage Reviews

Myself, husband, daughter, son in law, 2 x grandchildren and the dog. What a gorgeous cottage, scenic views, home comforts. Secure garden for the dog and kids to roam about. The shower was amazing and beds very comfortable. Tom, the owner couldn't find enough for us as the storm caused damage to the hot tub cover, he came down the same day and made is secure yet still usable. Highly recommend this cottage. Outside light off the kitchen to the outside area would have welcomed and we have mentioned this to the owner. We would absolutely come back here.

Couldn't recommend this home more! Great location, only 5 minutes from local village with shops, takeaways and supermarkets but the house feels nice and remote for a quiet break. The property had everything we needed, hot tub was a nice bonus and the garden was enclosed for our dog to run around. We were sad we had booked last minute and only availability was 4 nights - wish we could have stayed longer! Think this has been the best home we have booked for a staycation and we hope to return soon.

Great cottage in a secluded valley, but only 5 mins away from Bedlington town centre with its selection of shops and eateries. The cottage was great, nice sized rooms, comfy beds, excellent living room with log fire, games room with pool table, and large kitchen diner. It also has a nice hot tub, great for chilling in after a nice walk in the valley, or further afield along Hadrian's wall. Right outside the door is the river Blyth, with a small play park, stepping stones and walks through the valley. If you're looking for somewhere secluded, but still close to amenities then this is definitely a place to consider, and I'm looking forward to another stay in the future.
