The Old Stable Reviews

Pat
Lovely cottage great countryside
Kathryn
A lovely clean comfortable cottage in a village with some amenities and well situated for the coast, the Cheviots and the Borders.
Janette
We had a lovely 4 night break here. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The location was good for getting out and about in this area and we also played golf a couple of days with one of the courses only about 5 miles from the house. The food in the cafe across the road was very tasty as was the food in The Red Lion.
Brian
Clean, comfortable and a really good location.
Colin
Spacious, comfortable well equipped. Lots of maps, guides and information. Plenty to do. No complaints. Good welcome packages. Lots of instruction books to cover amenities supplied. Enjoyed handy cafe over the road for pies and milk etc.
Melvyn
This property is central in the village with a cafe and small shop across the road, so close by and a pub too that provides meals as well as the usual plus fuel for your car is readily available close by. The cottage is clean and comfortable and has easily used appliances installed. I would definitely recommend this place to stay for all those reasons plus it is well placed for many attractions, coastal and inland.

Lovely stay. Really impressed by the cottage which is well-located for visiting so many different places. We loved Cragside as well as Bamburgh Castle. Our week also included a day trip to Edinburgh. Despite the not so fabulous British summer we had a fabulous holiday. Thank you.
