Treetops is a contemporary wooden lodge with three bedrooms set within the peaceful Otterburn Lodges complex in Northumberland. This all-ground-floor property sleeps six guests and welcomes two dogs. The lodge sits within 500 acres of shared woodland grounds on the outskirts of Otterburn village.

The location offers direct access to walking routes through ancient woodland where red squirrels and deer roam freely. A fishing lake sits within the grounds. The beck running through the site attracts otters. Northumberland National Park surrounds the complex with exceptional dark skies for stargazing.

The open-plan living space features leather sofas and a Smart TV. The kitchen includes an induction hob and wine chiller. The master king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room. We had a wonderful week at Treetops. The lodge was lovely with very comfortable beds and great location. The lodge had everything we needed. Watching the red squirrels and birds from the deck was a real joy and the hysterical geese. Tracey was so quick to come back to us on a query. A fabulous place we hope to be back soon

Treetops is a fabulous lodge with hot tub. A great deal of thought has gone into what customers want and need from a lodge holiday. They have gone one step further though, everything in the accommodation is of a very high standard, gorgeous beds, linen, towels, rugs, kitchen equipment. It is definitely a 5 star experience and is superbly maintained. The forest walks are peaceful and if you're quiet and patient you will see the odd deer. There was even food left to feed and observe the squirrels. We have already booked to return next year!!

The accommodation was comfortable and clean. There wasnt enough cutlery for 6 people without putting the dishwasher on every night but there were enough dishwasher tablets to do this but we had to inventive if we had more than one course.

Treetops was an amazing place to stay clean, comfortable and well equipped. Loved watching the Red Squirrels and numerous birds even had a visit from a Woodpecker but sadly didnt get a photo! The Hot Tub was an added bonus although due to health issues didnt get to relax in it although the others did and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

This was our second visit and was perfect for our family of 5, and dog. All the facilities and equipment we could need to have a really comfortable stay. Lovely venues and coutry pubs nearby and close enough for trips to castles and beaches.The hot tub was great too. We'll be back

The lodge was fantastic and just the break we wanted and needed. The decking at the back was fantastic for watching the wildlife red squirrels and a huge variety of birds, as well as the lovely spacious hot tub. Inside the lodge was equally relaxing, with loads of space for everyone to be comfortable. We'd love to come back again in the future!!

The lodge was of a very high standard with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic holiday. Being able to feed Red Squirrels off the balcony made our holiday extra special. Would definitely recommend this lodge.

Overall the interior of the lodge is clean, well equipped and comfortably furnished. The quality of bedding & towels is good and the supply of dvd's, toys, games & books is a nice touch. There was a good supply of hot water however the cold tap in the kitchen runs warm initially. We assume the hot & cold pipes are too close together? We found the heated airer had a broken catch so it would not stand properly making it rather dangerous if there are children or dogs in the property. The only reason we have not given Treetops a 5 review is lack of attention of tidiness of the exterior. Understandably due to the many surrounding trees there will always be an element of leaf detritus. However the decking had not been swept for a long time with lots of leaf matter around the whole area. Dead leaves were in the hot tub scoops one of which is falling to pieces. There were bird droppings along the railings and on the outdoor furniture and the hot tub was splattered. The overall appearance of the exterior with cobwebs, debris etc let's down what the lodge offers internally. It would also be useful if there was a book with details of how the equipment worked. There were a number of instruction leaflets in a drawer but nothing relating to heating, the automatic rubbish bin, soap hand dispenser etc.

We enjoyed a very comfortable and relaxing few days in Treetops. It was very clean and some nice little touches such as Easter decorations and iphone charging ports. Thank you. Will be rebooking when time allows.

Absolutely great lodge with all amenities and more. Wildlife outside was excellent, hot tub amazing for star gazing and just a great place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

As youll see from the guest book we really enjoyed our stay. All the additional touches were thoughtful and amazing. Beds were comfortable, and there was everything you could possibly need and more. A couple points, that we didnt note, was the hot tub was not really clean and had far too much chlorine in it. The mat coming out needs replaced, it was green. The outdoor cushions were also covered in dog hair.

Couple of minor items lack of hanging space for clothes was a bit awkward for 5 adults and as we were attending a wedding and hanging space for suitsdresses was only really available in master bedroom. Also there were no hand towels but we had brought our own anyway.

The lodge was immaculately clean upon arrival, the bathroom looked better than a 5 hotel, a good sized hot tub at the rear to watch the red squirrels while having a glass of wine TV in all rooms Wine cooler which was greatly appreciated , coffee machine that was used daily that included a variety of coffee pods.
