Pine Tree Reviews

Robert
We booked Pine trees as a last minute get away from our hectic work lives, and this was just what the doctor ordered it was 110 worth the 290 miles travelled to get there. The property was spacious, and had everything we needed and more. We didn't have pets or children with us, but there were games in the cupboard, plastic cutlery, plates, bowls etc for the kids, and a stash of poo bags in the shoe rack by the door along with some dog bowls in a cupboard, the decking was secure too to keep the dogskids safe. The park itself is quiet, with a lovely woodland walk not far from the cabin. Maintenance comes round regularly to clean the hot tub and check chlorine levels. The decking had a second fence which made it very private this didn't seem to be the norm around the park, so very glad we booked this one as it allowed us to relax even more! There is a well stocked shop a half an hour walk away, with plenty to do near by. We will definitely be returning!!
1. Unfortunately we have bitterly disappointed with booked accommodations we believe your inspection team need to visit properties to ensure standards are kept , the Pines was not worth the 1012 for the 2 nights we stayed, we are now in a position we would not longer book through yourself. No one could justify paying 1012 for 2 nights for a place that was grubby, dated and overall disappointing. This certainly overshadowed our celebrations with are family. En suite show tray did not drain while showering En suite door lock broken so got locked in Living area Xmas decs still left and clumps of dirt and fluff in corner and on dinning chairs All window dirty ,finger marks on glass door so not cleaned since last visitors. Hot tub exterior cracked and broken Towels poor quality Not even a welcome basket Not worth 1012 for 2 nights. 42 hours plus booking fee 60 and insurance 53.

Absolutely amazing! Is in a beautiful remote location. Perfect for a quite relaxing holiday. Only down side was that the local pubrestaurant was closed not owners fault
The lodge itself was amazing and can't fault the cleanliness and everything within the lodge. The estate it was on was a little remote and it was a shame the pub wasn't open at all for the whole weekend. I'm guessing this is seasonal. One element that did spoil our weekend was the lodge behind us. It was occupied by 3 ladies who felt it was appropriate at 6am on a Saturday morning to be shouting at each other whilst drinking Stella and letting their dogs run riot around the front of the lodge, this continued for the majority of the morning and the same again on the Sunday, albeit a little less drunk!!! There were others who did not obey the reduced noise levels past 11pm, which was a little annoying!! We will he visiting the area again but will he looking at alternative accommodation, which is a shame.
Nice lodge but looking a bit tired now and en suite bathroom tiles were black in places. Beds comfortable however no wardrobes in rooms to hang clothes which was unfortunate so some clothes had to remain in cases. The Coach House on site only opened on Friday and Saturday night but even then couldnt get booked for a meal due to lack of staff. So that was disappointing as its a good 20 minute walk into village or venture further afield with transport. Site itself was well maintained and reasonably quiet .
We had a lovely stay here. The lodge is beautifully decorated and has everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed looking at the stars in the evening from the hot tub. Food at the on site Coach House and the nearby William De Percy was delicious. We will definitely be returning! Thank you.
Andrew
The lodge is really nice and well equipped, outdoor area and hot tub are fab. The area itself is nice with lots of walks. The showers in the lodge were not great, the electric one in the en suite was either too hot or too cold and the main shower only had enough hot water each morning for one person which was not ideal
Louise
Gorgeous property and location. We arrived to a generous Easter basket for the children. It was clean and very comfortable. Great spot for exploring Northumberland. Lovely lake and woods on site. It was a blissful week away to recharge and relax
Stephen
The lodge had everything we needed.
Cheryl
Lodge is absolutely beautiful , fully equipped with everything and more that you need. All the extra touches like board games , dvds , Netflix smart TVs ect is brilliant. Kids were kept entertained. Very comfortable Beds Only bad thing I can say is noisy neighbours but thats nothing todo with the owners.. 2 lodges in particular was still Singing and dancing so loudly after 1am . I hope to be back Thank you
We did have a problem with the boiler at one point, the radiators or hot water did not come on.
Lovely lodge in the tranquil village of otterburn. Beautiful woods and lake to walk around within the site. Friendly owners who really care about their business.
Corinne
Cleaners need to double check draws in bedrooms as underwear from previous guests still in one draw. Also water temperature in shower is very hot one minute and cold next More information needed regarding nearest shop etc . Overall a lovely lodge and would return
