Tidal Cottage Holy Island Reviews

Christina
We had an extremely peaceful and relaxing stay in this beautiful and well equipped cottage. Every detail had been thought of. It was very clean and warm, despite the cold November weather. We would recommend this cottage without hesitation.
David
This was our first visit to Tidal Cottage but it will certainly not be our last, as regular visitors to Holy Island we can honestly say this must be the best accommodations on the island for up to 4 people, the time and effort that has been put into the design and refurbishment of the cottage needs to be applauded. The equipment throughout is so well thought through every possible option appears to have been considered and addressed with quality products. It is wonderfully located and has an impressive outside space to enjoy and relax in. There are several options on the island where you can enjoy some interesting meal options however Tidal Cottage also allows you to cater for yourselves in style using a wonderful array of the cooking utensils and equipment provided. The property is definitely â??Hyggeâ??, and if you donâ??t know what we mean by this then during your visit you can read all about why it is so !
Alison

Lee
Wonderful cottage and location. Itâ??s very rare to find a cottage/villa/hotel thatâ??s as faultless as this. Really well appointed, stylish, beautiful outside space. We loved it. Would 100% recommend.
Nicola
We stayed at Tidal Cottage in May, and having stayed at quite a few properties on the island over the years, I can say this was the best one yet. What a beautiful refurbishment the owner has done on the cottage. Really well equipped kitchen and comfortable sitting area to relax in, as well as lovely bedrooms and bathroom. Phillipa couldnâ??t be a more welcoming host and such a nice touch to provide a nice welcome bag for guests when they arrive. Also being dog friendly made a big difference to us, thank you. Will definitely look to stay here when we come back to Holy Island.
Tracy
Beautiful, well-equipped cottage with high quality fitments. We particularly enjoyed the lovely garden.
Margaret

Extremely clean and tidy throughout. Every convenience present in the kitchen and extensive heating and radiators to keep the cottage toasty warm. Right in the centre of the island ten yards from the Ship Inn and a minutes stroll to the sea. We loved it and would definitely book again.
Kathryn
This was a beautiful cottage canâ??t fault it
Leah

Danielle

M
The Cottage was beautifully clean and so were all the utensils, pans etc. which, when we have gone on other holidays, sometimes we have had to wash everything before cooking.
Robert
Flawless absolutely perfect
Annette
Very welcoming cottage in such a beautiful location. The house has all what you need for a lovely holiday. Superbly equipment in the kitchen and toiletries. Nice neighbours. Weâ??re definitely going back.
Kate
A beautifully presented cottage in a stunning location.
Fiona
This is a really beautiful cottage that has just been renovated. The kitchen, one of the best-fitted kitchens I have stayed in, is very generous with the available equipment. My husband has recently been in the hospital, and it was the perfect place for him to rest and recover. Although we have visited Holy Island often, we have never stayed, and we realised it's a different, relaxing experienceâ??great local food is on your doorstep. We ate at the ship, which was a few doors down. The Crown and Anchor try the crab bisque they could eat dailyâ??Gelato from Pilgrims. On the final day, we visited the Post Office for bacon rolls and discovered their fabulous quiches and baked goods. We will be back to stay at Tidal Cottage. It was only an hour from home, but I felt a million miles away.
Nigel
