Little Dod Barn is a stone barn conversion sitting on a 1,800-acre working hill farm in Powburn near Alnwick, Northumberland. The exposed stone walls, high vaulted ceilings and feature wood burner give it a genuinely rustic feel. It's secluded, peaceful and surrounded by miles of unspoilt Northumberland countryside inside the Northumbrian National Park. No hot tub here but the fire pit, barbecue and paved patio make evenings outside worth it.
The Pennine Way is just 2 miles away. The Sandstone Way cycling route is 1 mile from the door. Marked walking trails start directly from the property with unmarked bridle paths across the valley too.
