We had a very enjoyable week at Red Herring cottage. The cottage is just perfect. Situated a stones throw from the centre of Craster it is very comfortable, cosy and well equipped. It's perfect for touring the beautiful Northumberland coast and after wonderful days out you can either relax in the sunshine on the comfy furniture on the deck or in front of the log burner. Absolutely perfect!! Thank you Alyson and Fiona

We loved our stay at Red Herring it ticked all boxes for comfort and facilities and location in Craster so easy to explore the rest of this Northumberland Coastline. So many beaches, walks and amazing places to eat, of course the Jolly Fisherman in walking distance. 5 stars from us all.

Lovely cottage. Great artwork. Dangerously close to a tempting gourmet pub. Just had to test the pub several times.

A comfortable cottage close to the harbour in Craster. We were blessed with wonderful weather for a week and as well as the coast walks from Craster the location is perfect for heading north towards Seahouses, Bamburgh and Berwick as well as south to Alnwick and Warkworth. An ideal location for photography and wildlife spotting.
