Red Herring is a 200-year-old stone-built former schoolhouse in Craster a small unspoilt fishing village on the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Craster sits within one of England's most celebrated stretches of coastline. The coastal walks here regularly feature in the UK's top 10 coastal walks. Wildlife spotting, harbour views and fresh sea air are all on your doorstep. A pub is nearby and the beach is within easy reach.

The cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower and WC. The second bedroom is a super-king that converts to twin beds on request. Both rooms have vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over.
Dunstanburgh Castle (less than 0.5 miles from the harbour) dates to 1313. Bamburgh Castle and its independent eateries are 13 miles away (approx. 25 mins). Seahouses is close by for boat trips to the Farne Islands. Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Garden are around 6 miles away (approx. 15 mins).
