Whittle Dene Reservoir House Reviews

Property is gorgeous, very spacious and fully equipped. There was everything you would need in the kitchen. The area is very peaceful, perfect for relaxing in the hot tub after a day of activities. There are no local shops, so be prepared with your food shop ????. The master bedroom was amazing and the views across the reservoirs were fabulous. We found it easier to catch the train from Prudhoe to Newcastle and the Metro centre, with frequent trains throughout the day.I can imagine this property being very cozy in winter. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing accommodation in a beautiful location.Everything inside was immaculate and what really stood out for us was the attention to detail and consideration given to the guests staying. We had lots of complimentary items such as wine, milk, tea and coffee. There was even swan and duck food!Kitchen fully stocked with utensils and cooking equipment.Fire was ready to be lit with plenty of spare wood and firelighters. The place was very clean and the hot tub was working perfectly.10/10 would recommend this totally unique listed building with panoramic views of the reservoirs. We have booked up another stay immediately for a winter break we enjoyed our stay that much! Special mention to the rangers who were on duty looking after our hot tub on Sat & Sun, very friendly and great customer service.

A superb property. Everything had been thought of. A lovely welcome pack, games for children, treats for dogs and pure luxury for adults. The pictures and description don't do it justice. The hot tub was maintained everyday by very respectful staff. You are right in nature, beautiful views from every room. I would not hesitate to fully recommend the beautiful house, location and service. I will definitely be back.
