Admiral Cottage Beadnell is a single-storey period cottage and one of the oldest dwellings in Beadnell a village on the Northumberland coast. It sleeps 6 across three bedrooms and sits just 400 metres from the local shop, pub and beach. Beadnell Bay is only half a mile away.

Beadnell is a quiet coastal village with direct access to some of Northumberland's finest beaches. Water sports are popular here. Seahouses a working fishing village is 2 miles away. Bamburgh Castle is 5 miles up the coast. The area is open, unspoilt and genuinely beautiful.

The cottage has three bedrooms: a king-size room (zip-and-link, available as twins), a double and a twin. Two bathrooms one with shower over bath and one separate shower room. Beamed ceilings and exposed stonework throughout. The living room has a wood burner with logs supplied.

We had a lovely week at Admiral Cottage. Nice layout, with only a few steps between room levels. Lovely big garden for the dogs to run around. Well equipped. Great location, a nice walk down to the Bay and all the other resorts are an easy driving distance away.

Great location, and much bigger than it looks from outside, also appreciated the off road parking for two cars. Bedding spotless and good sized fluffy towels. Garden is a great size and secure so perfect for us with two dogs in the party. We didnâ??t cook at the property but there appeared to be good supply of cooking utensils. We had an issue with the hot water in the full bathroom but after contacting Holiday Cottages they arranged for plumber to visit and sort it out. Luckily there are two boilers so the kitchen and shower room had hot water. Short walk to bars and restaurants, and similarly to the beaches. Would stay here again.

Admiral cottage is a beautiful and well thought out holiday property. It had everything we needed, was brilliantly located (only a short walk to the beach, shop and pub!). We and our dog loved the huge, fully enclosed garden. An excellent find, would definitely stay again!

Having read a review from August we were concerned, but following reassurances from Original Cottages thatâ??s these comments/issues has been addressed we arrived and were really delighted with the cottage. This a beautiful old cottage in the heart of Beadnell. It is a fabulous location within a short walk of the beach and lots of good pubs and places to eat. There is a spacious garden for dogs and children. It is well equipped and has 3 comfortable bedrooms to accommodate extended family parties. Unfortunately when we visited in December it was very cold and there was no fuel supplied for the log burner.
