Hethpool Mill Reviews

Charlotte
Our fifth stay in the valley, this is such an amazingly quiet and peaceful location. The Mill was spotlessly clean on arrival. Itâ??s well stocked and equipped. We walked straight up into the Cheviot Hills and had them almost to ourselves. We stayed during a very cold snap with snow but the Mill was very warm. The log burner a godsend. It was lovely to reconnect with nature and the countryside. We will definitely return!
Alexandra
This is a perfect cottage in a perfect location.

The cottage was a really lovely spotlessly clean, loved the place every thing you need is catered for, massive kitchen super cosy lounge and the beds were really comfy and then the outside space Brilliant fully enclosed garden safe for my two little dogs to run about without the worry of them disappearing and then the spectacular views really fabulous magical experience .
John
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had a really relaxing time. It is a beautiful cottage in a stunningly peaceful location and we loved seeing the sheep and their lambs wandering past. Really well equipped cottage especially the kitchen, and lots of cushions for comfort. Wifi was very good. Cottage was really clean when we arrived
Andrew
A beautiful, rural cottage which was so peaceful and a delight to stay in. Cottage was very clean on arrival, very well stocked with everything you need for a self catering holiday. We had wonderful weather as well which really helped but cottage was so cosy that even with poor weather you will be more than comfortable. If you want to be away from people and hustle bustle then this is absolutely the place for you.
Fi
Hepple Mill Cottage is in a truly delightful location away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. The walks from the door are wonderful and it was perfect for our dog with good spaces for him to dry off if he got wet. The cottage was lovely and warm even though we had some very cold nights and the woodburning stove made the sitting room very homely. There was lots of hot water for baths after a day out on the Fells.
Val
The cottage was so clean, the decoration perfect, the beds were heavenly, the linen & towels just wonderful. We really couldn't have wished for anything better. I've now been to Hethpool at least 5 times & the cottage never disappoints - well done to all concerned.

This cottage is delightfully situated close to a range of paths, including the St Cuthbert's Way. We enjoyed birdsong wherever we walked, saw many raptors, wild goats, hares and a wide range of invertebrates. Nature thrives here!
Susan

Fay
Lovely cottage in a fantastic quiet location in a beautiful valley. Well equipped with everything required in the kitchen to cook and a relaxing sofa in lounge for after dinner. Large bedrooms and comfortable beds. Low ceilings upstairs you will get used too, but if 6ft or taller you may have an issue moving around. Great walks in valley for all abilities.
Adrian
Perfect location for a quiet relaxing holiday, dog friendly and very well equipped.
