On The Watersedge Reviews

Elizabeth
Property was in very good condition cleanliness and overall fabrications was good. the accomodation's description matched the property perfectly, all rooms were spacious with most having ensuite. great location with a seafront view. easily accessible, with plenty of parking 3 4 cars. shop next door has all essentials needed. fish and chip van just outside serves amazing chips but is only open Thursday to Saturday. There was a problem with the hot tub, the owner were very responsive when messaged, unfortunately they were unable to get it working however they have refunded part of the price without being prompted.
A fabulous home in a fabulous setting. All the family had a great time from the 2 year old up to the 66 year olds. The house was beautifully presented and had everything we could have wished for. The views were stunning and the access to the beach made the holiday.
Annette
An amazing property for a large group. The best we have ever stayed in. All bedrooms very comfortable , perfect kitchen for a large group ,plenty of equipment and seating for everyone. The biggest lounge I have ever seen. The beach side setting was a real gem.
Beautiful property, very clean & comfortable. Accomodated the 14 of us with ease. Great for the children & the 2 dogs to have such direct access to the beach.
Joanne
Fabulous place to stay for a group of friends or family. The location on the beach is stunning and just a short drive to Bamburgh with arguably, the best beach in the world
Sandra
Eleven of us, ranging in age from 6 to 75, enjoyed a super weekend at On the Watersedge. We found the property spacious, cosy and comfortable. The views were spectacular and, even in February, we made good use of the direct access from the garden to the beach. The location is great and the owners were easy to communicate with. I hope to return with a group of friends later in the year.
Spent bringing in the New Year at Waters Edge it was lovely absolutely 100 we will be back Thank you to the owners for their help .

Absolutely amazing location we could not have wished for better. Only issue was house was far too.hot and radiators wouldn't turn down. We had a fantastic weekend and would love to go back again!! Thank you!!!
Francis
We stayed at On the waters edge with our family to celebrate my 70th birthday. The property was fabulous and suited us in every way. The view is 2nd to none and we loved Beadnell from where u can visit the lovely surrounding Northumberland villages. Plenty places to visit and eat! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
We loved this property for a family get together. It is very well equipped for the larger numbers and the proximity to the beach was very handy for the children. The girls managed several swims in the cold during the week, with the promise of the hot tub afterwords a real treat. All in all, we would highly recommend this property and hope to return soon. Thank you!
Beautiful house with amazing views
The property setting was magnificent, the most beautiful location. The property was spacious and on the whole comfortable. However the WiFi was appalling, all have diff networks and still not able to get signal and unable to access the Netflix or some other channels for Movie night, which we love as a family, so a bit disappointing. However we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the 2 pooches thought they were is 7th heaven with our numerous walks on the beach.
A super spacious property with fantastic views. There is access to the beach from the back garden. A great base to explore the Northumberland coast. Would highly recommend it
A lot bigger than expected and really comfortable the home is gorgeous and well equipped
Stephen
Lovely holiday cottage with a spectacular seaview and easy access down onto beach from back garden.
Dianne
We absolutely loved the house and location. It totally lived up to our expectations. We had a fantastic family weekend. Thank you.
Eileen
Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting we all enjoyed our stay, and would hope to come back.
Anne-marie
A lovely house in an excellent seaside position. Waking up to the sea view was amazing. House situated in a great location for walks, beach access, shopping and dining. There was plenty of crockery, cutlery and pans. Would definitely recommend. I would add an additional fridge in utility rather than a freezer as we were running out of fridge space to cool wine and beers. The right oven door did not close properly so needs fixing. Some family members used the hot tub resulting in hot tub rashes, unsure whether too many chemicals had been used as there was a strong smell of chlorine in the hot tub shed. We all had a fab Christmas week.
A really lovely property for a large group. The location is superb ideal for bird watchers or anyone else content to enjoy a beautiful seascape. The house itself is very well equipped also spacious, warm and comfortable . There were one or two minor maintenance issues , but these were resolved literally in minutes. We would all , unreservedly, recommend this property .
A beautiful place to stay. The house is very well equipped. The location is perfect and the owners very helpful. Would recommend
Sandra
Excellent location right on the beach. Very well equipped with everything a large group could need. The hot tub and heated outside shower were great when returning from the beach and sea and plenty of outdoor seating to get the full benefit of the fabulous sea views. The kitchen diner is great for family meals, and again very well equipped with plenty of cooking and eating options and a large fridge freezer with drinks and ice machine. Lots of sleeping and bathroom options and a gorgeous spa bath. We were a group of 10 adults and two toddlers and we wanted for nothing here. Even a shop right next door selling essentials as well as fresh bread and local product's. Fabulous stay thank you.
