Pegasus Cottage Reviews

Emma
What a lovely cottage. Perfect location and the village is lovely. It is not a through road so relatively quiet. The cottage itself is very comfy particularly the beds. Itâ??s very nicely done up and had everything we needed. A lovely welcome pack and very useful soap, shampoo, washing up liquid etc. The owners seem to have thought of everything. The walking from the cottage is amazing all the way along the coast which is stunning. Great pub in the village, plus a cafe, art gallery and the smokery is awesome. We had a lovely time and really hope to stay again.
Clare
The cottage is cosy and in a fantastic location, however it wasnâ??t clean. Very dusty, dirty in some parts and lots of cobwebs. No firewood on arrival. To improve the experience the cleanliness needs addressing and would benefit from a shower upstairs as the shower is very small downstairs.
Tim
Comfortable cottage in a Prime location. Nice start for many costal walks and the (very) nearby pub serves excellent food and ale. Friday chip van was really good too. Nice to take home and eat on the lovely front terrace.
Kevin
Lovely, cosy cottage in a wonderful harbour side location. Stunning coastline walks right outside the door with a great local pub for evening drinks. If there are 4+ guests be warned that there isnâ??t much storage for clothes and the upstairs bathroom is shared by all bedrooms, and the downstairs shower isnâ??t the greatest. But, this didnâ??t overshadow our weeks holiday, the location and sea air more than made up for it!
Lynne
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Pegasus Cottage. The added bonus was the view of the bay and the lovely walks that are on the doorstep.
Richard
Excellent, surprisingly quiet location with a bus stop yards away. Well decorated and plenty of space. It was very pleasant to sit on the balcony overlooking the lovely harbour. Well equipped, for instance in the kitchen and with a large fridge/freezer. All the bedrooms had comfortable beds. The owners helpfully provided extra equipment for twin babies. Excellent cleanliness. Hot water always available even though we were a large party. More accessible information on the heating would have been helpful in the unseasonably cold summer we are having. Very generous welcome pack of snacks, cordials etc.
Alan John
The cottage is in an ideal location. It is opposite the small harbour. Close to the pub and seaside walks. The three parking spaces were ideal. The accommodation is spacious, the bedrooms were ideal with the luxury of an extra bathroom. The kitchen was well laid out with plenty of storage space in the two fridges. The welcome pack went down very well. All in all, very good value for money and an ideal location. I would definitely stay there again.
June
Pegasus cottage is overpriced in its present condition. It requires a makeover & a thorough cleaning. We had to ring the office to deliver logs which should have been provided & the â??extending â?? dining table â?¦â?¦didnâ??t extend!( centre panel was missing?) The upper floors were in better condition with comfy beds, clean linen & towels. However we will not be returning.
