Beautifully furnished with everything you need. Beds were a little soft for me as I have back issues, but probably perfectly fine for normal folks. Would happily stay here again.

A very easy holiday at this bungalow. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay in a good location. We loved that everything was so close by so we could spend our holiday enjoying days out rather than travelling to and from them for long distances. It's rare to find that combination of a great property in a great location.

Excellent property and we loved our stay. Everything we needed for a fantastic holiday near to the coast with lots of fantastic places to visit. Sugar sands are beautiful and close by you can walk or take your car. A wide range of glasses, champagne to water glasses. White towels and bedding are a very high quality. All bedrooms are spacious and the master bedroom has a very spacious ensuite with large shower cubicle & access to the garden making it a light sunny room. The garden is a very private sunny garden with a very large jacuzzi that we all loved spending time in after a day on the beach, especially the children. There are foldaway chairs in the shed to enjoy a drink in the quiet sunny garden. There is a clothes drier in the side garden which was very useful to dry our swimsuits and towels. we would highly recommend this property.

Situated in a quiet culdesac, with a track leading to the beach. First impressions a very smart home, and inside it definitely didnt disappoint either, spacious, clean, and well appointed. It was as the brief described. Bev, our host sent full entry details in advance. An ideal base to explore the Northumberland coast line and National Park. Then return to a lovely hot tub. The Fishing Boat Inn on the beach, served excellent food, as did The Fish Shack in Amble. Would thoroughly recommend

Enjoyed our week at The Croft. The bungalow is in a lovely quiet spot but within a 10 minutes walk from the nearest beach. The bungalow was very spacious and clean, kitchen well equipped, plenty of hot water and the hot tub was amazing. We hope to visit again soon. Highly recommended.

We have just returned home for a week at the Croft and we sulked the entire way back after such a lovely week on our Summer holiday. The house is lush with all the comforts and facilities you could wish for hot tub was a fam fav. The host was super attentive and answered any of questions promptly. The location is perfect for exploring the coastal routes and towns. We will most certainly look to book the Croft again for our next Northumberland visit. It's a beautiful and peaceful spot to recharge the batteries.

A lovely bungalow on a quiet residential estate. Very well equipped. Beds are very comfortable. Easy drive to Alnwick for shopping and of course, Barter Books. We encountered a few problems which Bev quickly helped us rectify.

The location of this property is perfect, it's so quiet but still close enough to A1 to make exploring Northumberland easy. The rooms are large and the beds are comfy. The owner provided us with plenty of information about the property prior to arrival and they provide a lot of the essentials you need for a self catering break such as tea bags, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. The hot tub came in handy for post exploration relaxing, the sun shines in the back garden all afternoon and it's not overlooked which is a bonus.

We stayed for a week in this fantastic property and very much enjoyed our time here. The location is fantastic being close to lots of major attractions in Northumberland and only 4 miles from Alnwick. We were able to walk down to the beach and you can even sea the sea from the kitchen window! The house itself was very comfortable and felt like a home from home. It had everything we needed. The hot tub was a highlight and we made good use of it in the evenings to relax after a day of sightseeing. Communication with the owner, Bev, was fantastic leading up to our stay and during. Would highly recommend this place and we very much hope to return in the future.

This is a very nice, spacious bungalow with excellent facilities good for someone with mobility issues although steps at front and back doors. It's an exceptionally quiet neighbourhood on the edge of the village, with a 20minute walk through farmland down to the beach. There were one or two minor issues re cleanliness and equipment, but nothing to spoil a really enjoyable holiday in a great holiday cottage.

This is a wonderful cottage in a brilliant area. The facilities are great, it was presented in a very clean condition, with everything you would need, plus a glorious hot tub. There is a superb beach in walking distant and you are in the middle of some of the best of the Northumberland coast. You can get to Newcastle, Durham or Edinburgh by car or train if you want to. We had a brilliant holiday.

Had a lovely week here with our family. Plenty of room for us all, hot tub was a lovely bonus, kids played in the garden area. The only thing we struggled with was the rubbish bin, the previous occupants had nearly filled the main bin, so we had to use separate bin bags and leave them at the side of the bin, but not sure if this was because bins are collected fortnightly in some areas, so hope it all got taken away the day we left as it was bin collection day. All in all a lovely quiet place to spend time, and very easy to get around and visit the surrounding area.

Beautiful holiday home in a great location. 10 minute drive from Alnwick, and a 20 minute walk down to the nearest beach. The house is well equipped, and the owner provides plenty of useful information before arrival, and is very responsive to queries. We'd definitely recommend The Croft for a peaceful stay.

The kitchen is well equipped, beds were comfortable and the whole place is very spacious. Fantastic large hot tub which was cleaned in the middle of our week too. We had a lovely week staying at The Croft. The property was perfect and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was brilliant before we arrived. Location is great, 20 minute walk to the beach, 10 minutes in the car to Alnwick and not far from other locations. The hot tub is an excellent addition, especially after long walks during the day. The sun room was beautiful to sit in and read. The area is quiet and is perfect for relaxing and having some time out. We would definitely book again at The Croft.

The property was lovely and was a great base for our family holiday. The location is perfect Longhoughton Beach is walkable, it's just a short drive to Alnwick, and also well placed for visits to all the other wonderful places along the Northumberland coast. The property itself was very comfortable plenty of space for the whole family, very comfortable beds, and a great hot tub to help you relax at the end of the day. Communication from the owner before arrival was great all info needed for the property and local area was provided. Overall, it was a great stay and we'd happily stay at The Croft again.
