Smugglers Hide Reviews

Anne
Our second visit to this house, loved it and will be back soon.
Claire
Lovely and amazing homely cottage located in central Beadnell village. Very close to lots of great places to eat and a 10 min walk to the beach. Loved the enclosed garden for our dog and he enjoyed sitting in the sunshine â??️ . Kitchen is fully equipped for any cooking needs and had a large fridge freezer which is great. Bedrooms really spacious and comfy with lots of storage.
Michelle
Loved the cottage stay, was very much home from home, had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Location is brilliant for great scenic walks, easy accessible to Seahouses, Beadnell Bay and Bamburgh. Village has fabulous eateries, highly recommend. Only slight downside is that the kitchen is looking a little tired, cupboard is hanging off and the ceiling lights need some tlc.
Karen
The ad is misleading for this property. Blinds kept down as we backed onto caravan site looking out at gas cylinders and dustbins. Would not have booked this cottage had we known also some sort of builders yard at the side of cottage could see clearly through fence
Anne
A lovely homely and comfortable cottage, clean and well equipped. Perfect for us and our dogs.
Martin
Lovely property. Great location, very comfortable and warm and has everything you need.
Rebecca
Lovely cottage, brilliant location. Weâ??ve stayed in Northumberland many times and this is a property we see ourselves coming back to. Everything we needed and comfortable for us, our 2 year old and our small dog. Loved the enclosed garden so able to let the dog out without worrying she was going to run off. Cottage had all equipment we needed for our stay. Ideally located for many areas of interest and beaches. Also able to walk to the village shop and two pubs for dinner! Nothing more to ask for.
Carol
Love this property (itâ??s our second stay). Perfect location, very quiet given itâ??s in the middle of a busy village. Garden is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and a good book. House has everything you could need and very clean and comfy.
Geoff
A lovely cottage - our 5th stay in Smuggler's Hide which sums it uo.
Chris
Great place to stay, well equipped and central for local amenities
Charlotte
As already addressed, the cot bed provided was broken and with no mattress which is unsuitable for a baby. Was not told there would be no mattress provided and only contacted to rectify the problem on the last night after baby had gone to bed. Had to fashion a mattress out of a throw and fitted sheet.
Beverley
We really enjoyed spending Christmas in Smugglers Hide. Very cosy and well equipped with comfortable furniture and beds. Within walking distance of the beach and amenities in Beadnell.
