Fika Reviews

Elizabeth
Good location and comfortable cottage apart from being cold in all rooms when weather is bad and heating not set to be on enough. Well stocked utensils and good kitchen appliances. Plenty of hot water and bathrooms nice. Beds comfortable.
Martin
After an horrendous experience with Holiday Cottages in December we were delighted to have a brilliant week at Fika. This property is spacious, comfortable, well equipped and located just a few miles away from the award winning beach at Bamburgh. If you self cater (I.e. donâ??t go out to the pub every evening) the kitchen is well equipped - we found nothing lacking. Three really good shower/bathrooms. Main bedroom is large and both double/king beds very comfortable. Location is dead quiet down a lane with no traffic. About 1km off the A1 which you cannot hear or see. We would return.
Ken
Lovely Cottage quiet location and nice secure garden for our dogs and plenty of space.
Karen
This cottage was so comfortable and well appointed, kitchen equipment was excellent even down to a slow cooker so dinner would be ready on our return at night. You can sit on the door step watching the wild life including hares, and the 100's of house martins getting ready to leave for the sunshine. The garden is totally dog secure, you can leave them outside in the full knowledge they are safe.
Ian
The cottage was superbly clean when we arrived. Every appliance you could need was there and working. The location was perfect , on a "no through road" so was perfect for our two dogs to wander out of the front door.
Catherine
Beautifully cottage in a sleepy hamlet. Extremely well equipped and comfortable with a lovely secluded back patio and walled garden. We stayed with small child and the house catered well for a family - safe and full of extras to make the holiday easy. Not far from stunning Bamburgh and the Northumberland coast. Only slight draw back were limited footpaths directly from the house, and close proximity to A1 meant we drove most places. However if you want a relaxed peaceful stay this is the place. Would absolutely stay again and recommend.
Helen
Situated in quiet, very pleasant rural location.Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Loved the fact that each bedroom had a first class ensuite.
Letty

Sara
Lovely cottage beautiful surroundings. Greatly appreciated after being let down by cottage booked two days before holiday. Great location for exploring the area.,lots to do and see.
Steve
Beautiful, quiet location. The first ever truly dog friendly/ safe walled garden we have had. Lovely ensuite bedrooms. Comfortable open living/ kitchen area. Straight off A1 and easy access to local attractions. Nice neighbours too. Only issue we had was the heating but that may not be needed if the sun ever comes out.
