Cuthbert Cottage Reviews

Julie
Well equipped. Very nicely furnished. Tried to extend booking by paying for additional nights but this was refused by the agent who said only additional complete weeks could be booked.
Jonathan
Comfortable and excellent location.
Jacky
This cottage is a little gem - perfectly situated for village amenities, but quiet and peaceful. Impressively furnished, comfortable and very clean. The enclosed courtyard garden was a treat, and a great little sun trap. Lots of thoughtful touches, especially in the lower drawers in the kitchen - from spare dog bags through batteries to replacement light pull cords - they're all there! We would definitely like to return and happily recommend Cuthbert's Cottage. Thank you so much for a lovely holiday.
Christopher
Excellent location. Well appointed. Very comfortable.
Antony
The cottage was a home from home. Well equipped, tasteful decor, ideal location . Places to eat and drink a stones throw away and all worth a visit. Ideal spot to explore nearby towns. Definitely recommend.
Sarah
Cuthbert Cottage is a gem in the heart of Beadnell. We have stayed here more than once and love staying here. The accommodation has everything that you need to make your stay enjoyable. The cottage is very clean and the bedrooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Plenty space to unpack and hang your clothes too. The cottage is very quiet even though it is right next door to another one. The cottage also benefits from a small courtyard area which is ideal for eating out or just sitting in the sun reading a book. We have one dog and this accommodation is a very easy place to bring your dog. It is a fantastic place to stay and can't wait to return.
William
A lovely well-equipped and comfortable cottage within 200 yards of four eating places and ideally situated for visiting different parts of Northumberland. One of the best holiday homes we have stayed in.

Ian
Cottage brilliant Good location for pub and other eateries Good location for all the coast.
Mary
This cottage has been beautifully decorated throughout. Spotlessly clean and inviting with a small terrace at the rear with a rabies and chairs and brightly coloured pots full of spring flowers.
Ruth
Lovely little cottage. Very clean. Beautifully decorated. Short walk to the beach. Ideal for a couple
Christopher
Very clean and well equipped. Only two of us so plenty of room. Location unsurpassed: in the heart of the village, very quiet, just a stroll to the pubs/restaurants, cafes, and shop. Take a torch unless sunsets are late. On the bus route to Seahouses/Bamburgh/Craster. 5-10 minute walk to Beadnell Beach one way, and to a great swimming cove the other way (behind the shop). 12 minute easy cycle ride to Seahouses.
Michael
Our second visit to Cuthbert's Cottage and no doubt we will be back! Perfect location for facilities and beach. A relaxing stay, most enjoyable.

Janet
We loved the location, the walk to the beaches and the various restaurants/pubs, all dog friendly. The cottage is really clean and well equipped, a home from home. We would love to come back again to lovely Beadnell.
Peter
From stepping into the property, you could tell it was going to be a pleasant experience. The smell of fresh paint hit your nostrils, crossing the threshhold. Is was so clean and interior so well laid out. The use of space was excellent. Great too, having a downstairs loo. Shame the weather wasn't up to being able to utilise the (although quite small) enclosed outdoor patio area... It must be great in summer to chill, bbq & dine Al fresco. It has a brilliant postion in the village...being a 2 mins slow walk to the Craster Arms & Beadnell towers. 5, at m9st to the village shop..15/ 20 minute walk to the beach and the Landing ( lovely place to have breakfast, a cuppa, a beer/ wine or dine.
